We are a group of local volunteers from various environmental organisations who, last year, successfully organised Tunbridge Wells' first Climate and Nature Fair in Calverley Grounds, under the umbrella organisation Tunbridge Wells CAN - Climate and Nature Community Interest Company. This year, the team comprises mostly the same core organisers (with a few new faces!).
While some of us are coming to the planning of the Fair with professional backgrounds in event planning and project management, many of us are learning on the job (or rather, enthusiastically muddling through!)
A huge thank you to Sarah Bartholomew for her awesome design work on our marketing assets. If you need some help with your own design project get in contact with Sarah here: https://www.sarahbartholomew.co.uk/
With the success and popularity of the 2025 inaugural Fair under our belt, we're working with the strong blueprint established by that team (photo) to deliver to Tunbridge Wells an even bigger and more ambitious Fair with high-profile speakers and even more engaging content. Our aim remains to build a green community in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area and to truly secure the Climate and Nature Fair as an annual festival day in the local calendar!

For 2026 we are very proud that, in recognition of the success of the first Fair, we were invited to partner with the prestigious Tunbridge Wells Literary Festival, which takes place in various locations around the town on 1-10 May. It was decided that the Lit Fest would take over Calverley Grounds for the May bank holiday weekend (2-4 May), and we were invited to run the TW CAN Fair in the park on Sunday the 3rd of May.
